The event was incredible with four local authors coming: Benjamin Brookes, Brittany Goodwin, Kathryn Osborne, Tracy Garret, and Andrew Maraniss. Expressing their excitement for the upcoming SE-YA festival, the authors discussed their reasons for enjoying meeting young readers and writers. Benjamin Brookes even agreed to dance at the SE-YA book festival, saying that that was the way to open up the event. Here are some pictures at the announcement:

SE-YA Fest. Line-Up

SE-YA Fest. Line-Up Announcements 







On October 27, 2016, five local young adult authors will participate in the author reveal of the SE-YA Book Fest 2017. There will be a list of 39 authors who will be participating in SE-YA; in addition, the five local authors will discuss their books and what SE-YA is like for both authors and readers. The rest of the evening is for interaction with fellow book-readers. Parnassus Books will be at the event, selling books for all authors who attend the announcements. It is free and open to all. Again, it is on October 27 (Thursday) at 6:30-8:30 PM at the Linebaugh Public Library in Murfreesboro (105 W. Vine Street). 

SE-YA takes place on Friday and Saturday, March 10-11, 2017 in Murfreesboro. It will feature author visits, panels, book signings, meet-and-greets, and many more activities.
